Moultrie now offers a free hunt planning tool available for both cell camera users and non-users through the Moultrie app.

Even if you're not a Moultrie cell camera customer, you can now use Moultrie’s hunt planning tools for free. And if you are an existing Moultrie cellular customer, it’s time to upgrade to even more advanced hunt planning features. Here’s what you can expect from these incredible features.

The Moultrie Hunt Planning App offers a free and feature-rich experience designed for hunters who want to stay organized, scout smarter, and make data-driven decisions in the field. Whether you use trail cameras or not, this app helps streamline every phase of your hunt planning, from photo organization to property mapping.

If you’re using trail cameras but haven’t switched to cellular models, you can use the Moultrie app for free to plan your hunt and organize your images. Once you import your photos into the app, we automatically sort them for you and tag species with Smart Tags. Additionally, we sort your buck images by age class and create custom folders for them.

This simplifies how you manage and access your trail camera data. With organized folders and automatic tagging, you can quickly review patterns in buck activity and make better-informed hunting decisions.

Your imported images will also be automatically analyzed through activity charts, allowing you to spot patterns and identify peak activity times at your camera locations. Filter activity by day, time, temperature, and even moon phase.

These filters help you understand deer behavior more clearly, giving you an edge in choosing when and where to hunt. Instead of relying on guesswork, you can use hard data to plan every move.

Moultrie Maps now feature a new tracker that allows you to track where you’ve been. You can also stay downwind and undetected with the ideal wind forecast tool included in maps. Mark your stand or blind, then view real-time wind forecasts for up to seven days. This allows you to pick stand locations based on conditions and reduce the chances of alerting game to your presence.

Game Plan is an advanced hunt planning tool that you cannot find anywhere else. It uses local trail camera data and weather conditions to generate a custom forecast for whitetail deer movement.
