We're excited to announce a new way to schedule your connected feeder with Sunrise/Sunset schedules.
This new schedule setting will allow you to program your feeder based on local sunrise and sunset times. This simplifies and automates your feeding routine, aligning with the typical times that deer are actively looking for food. No need to adjust a timer in person, or reset schedules as the daylight hours change - this method is truly set-and-forget way to schedule your feeder.
Using Cellular Tech to Feed at Sunrise and Sunset
Moultrie’s FEED HUB is the first and only connected feeder that offers automatic, remote, sunrise and sunset feeding schedules.
What sets us apart? FEED HUB’s cellular connectivity communicates with the Moultrie app to adjust dynamically throughout the year, as daylight hours change. There's no need for you to manually program a timer or specific feed times — FEED HUB will do it for you.
How Does it Work?
FEED HUB will use your feeder’s map location to determine the local sunrise and sunset time, plus other settings that you can control in the app.
- Pin Your Feeder: First, you'll need to drop a pin and set your feeder’s location in Maps, in the Moultrie app.
- Dynamic Schedules: Feed times will automatically adjust to match the local sunrise and sunset times. You can make changes any time, remotely, using the Moultrie app.
- Customizable Offsets: Want to adjust a feed time slightly? You can set the feeder to run up to one hour before or after sunrise or sunset.

By syncing your feed schedules based on natural feeding patterns, you'll be able to maintain consistent feeding throughout the year, without visiting your feeder to program a timer. The new Sunrise/Sunset feature is available in the latest app version. To verify your current app version, open the Moultrie app, tap the menu, and go to Account > About.
